Advertising Ashtrays?

I understand this is a weird question, but do Las Vegas casinos have their logos on their ashtrays or are they like Reno and just blank. I have a very large collection and am looking forward to maybe adding a few. Here is a small sample of my collection:

Advertising Ashtrays?

I would imagine if they did quite a few would ';walk'; out the door due to people wanting to ';add to their collections';.

I don%26#39;t recall seeing any logo ashtrays in casinos.

A friend took his Dad away recently for the weekend to a big college football game. The old man was walking off with everything in the hotel room and said, ';They put their name on it because they want you to take it with you.';

Any I can recall are plain glass but there are plenty of logo%26#39;d matches. Not the same I know, but at least related.

I know that you can ';buy'; a Golden Gate ashtray using your players cards points.

In the casino%26#39;s I%26#39;ve only seen the basic clear or black glass ones, no logos... Try the gift shop.

I just looked at your ashtrays in the link you provided. The Golden Gate one is different than the one you have. It is black and the name and logo is around the outside of it.

IrishFan hit the nail on the head. They stopped printing the logo for the same reason they stopped feeding people $4.99 steak dinners. They were walking out full both in their stomachs and their purses at the casino%26#39;s expense. Of course it%26#39;s great for those who collect them.

My Golden Gate ashtrays are probably from the 60%26#39;s and 70%26#39;s. I will hit the gift shops for sure.

Nice collection of Vegas ashtrays!!

TI (Treasure Island) had the ashtrays with their logo. As of March 2008, I think they were on the Casino Floor, but perhaps it was the hotel room or restaurants where I saw them.

in the flamingo rooms, the ashtrays were plain glass with no logo, however i was able to pick up a few different logo ones in the gift shop for just a couple bucks each.

so if you%26#39;re a collector, you will still be able to find them... just not for free.
