Spending a weekend with daniel Negreanu

Just confirmed that I am in for the weekend, Aug 8-10. It should make for a VERY fun TR.

Two-time World Poker Tour winner and three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu is offering players the chance to spend a weekend with him for one-on-one poker training and a VIP Las Vegas experience on Aug. 8-10.

This is limited to only 18 participants, and already, 10 spots have been locked up. Attendees will all stay at the Venetian and begin their weekend by taking a limo to Negreanu’s house for a barbeque.

For training, Negreanu will lead seminars on various topics from bluffing, tournament and cash strategy, and odds. Players will get a chance to take their lessons to the felt and practice them in a live workshop where Negreanu will assess their play. The following is the official itinerary:

If you take your poker seriously this sounds like a great trip. Hope you perhaps find the time for a little gambling buggy - your exploits at the tables are my favorite parts of your TRs..... :-)

about 10 hr of group instruction, and some helpful hints picked up in conversation at meals and socials.

For me I%26#39;d spend the 15k on private lessons and skip paying for the meals and socials and group lessons.

His house is nice, he%26#39;s a smart and he%26#39;s a funny guy - you will have fun and learn something.

This sounds awsome. It would be a dream weekend for me. But at the same time, thats 6 morgage payments!

In theory, in addition to the experience and the fun and luxury of the Venetian and high-roller Vegas, you would gain the poker savvy to win back $15,000 in a night, Rounders-style. Negreanu is one heckuva player, and even being near the guy probably makes you a better reader...

He%26#39;s my absolute favorite. I totally want a detailed trip report when you get back. Is there a link to this? I would expect it to have been advertised somewhere. I get Card Player Magazine and I haven%26#39;t seen it in there...
