Coins for bills?

When I was in Vegas last time, I remember in one of the hotels you could put your change in a machine and get bills for them. I think it might have been Harrah%26#39;s - can anyone tell me if you have seen any of these and where?

Thanks

Coins for bills?

I can%26#39;t say I%26#39;ve ever seen one of these machines other than in my local grocery store and I don%26#39;t know why you may have a copious amount of coins since most machines are now ticket in - ticket out, but if you need to cash in coins for bills, any casino cage/ cashier can oblige you. I have seen machines that cash out the tickets though or you can take them to the cage as well.

Sorry but that was from the old days when you put coins into machines and they are long gone in the TITO days. I wouldn%26#39;t bother hauling coins with you but would turn them in at home.

It%26#39;s a Dollar Bill kinda place. i haven%26#39;t seen any of those change machines in Vegas, only in Laughlin.

Leave the cargo pants full of change at home, you%26#39;ll have an easier time going through the metal detectors at the airport.

I haven%26#39;t seen them on the strip but they have them at Sam%26#39;s Town on the second floor and also downtown. I believe it was Mermaids and LaBayou and I think the Fitz does also.

The last strip property I can remember seeing this was at Luxor, don%26#39;t know if it is still there.

There are a few downtown, Fitzgeralds , for one. And last year I was at Las Vegas Club downtown, and they still had a few VP machines that still payed out coins, and the cashier had the counting machine to turn it into bills. (these were older machines with great paytables, so I like playing there. )

Its downright difficult to find a cashier in a cage willing to take the change and give you bills in many casinos. I end up with a bunch of change from Tito%26#39;s. I end up stacking quarters for the maid%26#39;s tip. the rest goes in a baggy to take home.

very few strip casinos pay in coins, except Slots of fun. Maybe the Riv and some very old $1 machines in cc.

Grocery stores in Vegas have these, just as the ones in your hometown do.

Some of the lower end caasinos, where they still use coins in the slots, will take coins at the cashier%26#39;s cage. But most of the places use tickets now.
