I%26#39;m due to stay at the Las Vegas Hilton from this Wednseday but was wondering if it%26#39;s possible to visit other hotel swimming pool areaas or are they out-of-bounds or chargeable?
Swimming Pools
Most are out of bounds and some you can pay for to enter if they are open.

Swimming Pools
I am here and Mandalay Bay is having a Movie night on Friday Night...check their website for details...my net is a little slow to pull up specifics. spent first 2 nights at rio and they did not check for any room key or anything...you can get shuttle in front of Paris by balloon for a free ride out there if needed
As has been said there%26#39;s public access to a few pools (often for a charge) but the golden rule is if you want a great pool then stay at a hotel that has one.
Surprised to hear that Rio is not checking room keys at the pool. When I was there in June they were absolutely checking.
Flamingo has one of the best pools at a reasonable priced hotel. They checked room keys off and on because the place is beyond crazy busy. I bet the Hilton has a decent pool though.

';I bet the Hilton has a decent pool though.';
It does, it%26#39;s pretty basic but for laying out, taking a dip, spending a few minutes in the spa tub, grabbing a drink it%26#39;s not bad. Not comparable to bigger Strip properties, no waterfalls or stuff like that. But it%26#39;s a relaxing place to hang.
If they%26#39;re still doing ';Cool by the Pool'; this time of year that%26#39;s a good deal too - discount drinks and a fairly lame singing guitar guy...this, by the way, IS open to the public for free, I think it%26#39;s from 5:00 - 8:00.
