Venetian website down ?

Greetings !

I have been trying to access the Venetian hotel,s website for several days without any luck. Does someone know if the site is down or what is going on ?

Regards

Peter / Sweden

Venetian website down ?

Peter, I just accessed it with no problem at all. www.thevenetian.com

Venetian website down ?

Well, my response was deleted . . . guess I shouldn%26#39;t have given you the Web site address. My guess is . . . gabby%26#39;s will soon disappear too.

OK . . . the Venetian%26#39;s Web site is working. Be sure you have the correct address. Enter Venetian Las Vegas into Google to double check the address you%26#39;re using.

I was surprised when I saw your post had been deleted, coffeemug! I had never seen you post up something even remotely deserving of a deletion!! Strange, strange goings on around TA of late! Hope you read this before it too gets deleted!!

I did ;) Thanks, gabby. Gettin%26#39; tricky to answer questions!

Well ! There is something funny going on !

I have tried to reach the website both from work and home and friends computers, via yahoo, altavista and Google. And used different internetproviders without any luck.

Have Sweden been excluded from accessing the venetian website ? Hey ! I am a IT-supportperson at my work and I dont understand what is going on ?????

Peter

Hi Peter,

I actually had the same thing happen to me for a while, where suddenly from my home computer I couldn%26#39;t access the Venetian website, but from a public computer lab I had no problems. I downloaded the Mozilla Firefox web browser, and this solved my problem. There is something that is funky with that website and it gets finicky sometimes. However, if I try to access the Venetian website now from my regular browser, I have no problem. Yes, it%26#39;s wierd, but I know what you%26#39;re talking about.

seems like the website is down again? for a couple days now.

I just accessed it by typing venetiandotcom. I have noticed that they have been making cosmetic changes to their reservation site, so maybe this has something to do with it? Keep trying and good luck. You might also try smartervegas.com, click on the venetian promo area and maybe that will take you to the venetian site. It%26#39;s worth a try.

  • Need a place to listen to Blues Music

I%26#39;m trying to help a friend who wants to listen to Blues Music Oct 11-14. They already checked House of Blues and there%26#39;s punk playing at that time. Does anyone know where in Vegas they can get some good blues music? Thanks!

Need a place to listen to Blues Music

Wander , a good place to start is www.lasvegasblues.org , it%26#39;s the Las Vegas Blues Society , has list of all blues venues in LV plus local band info.

    Thanks so much!

    Wow, thanks for the link.

Usually only have the Sandollar, and occasionally the Bunkhouse

    Help Please! The Colosseum-Caesars Palace

I%26#39;m trying to find out if it really matters where you sit in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Looking to get tickets but don%26#39;t want to sit up in the rafters.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Help Please! The Colosseum-Caesars Palace

The first mezzanine seats are great.

    Help Please! The Colosseum-Caesars Palace

    Thanks JackTarlover,

That%26#39;s kinda where I was thinking. It looks in between and not quite the nose-bleed section.

Sorry-Stupid Question- What does D in DH mean?

I should know this, but I can%26#39;t figure it out. I keep seeing DH and DW, know it means Husband and Wife, just can%26#39;t figure out the D? UGGGHHHHHH

Sorry-Stupid Question- What does D in DH mean?

';Dear'; or sometimes ';Dumb'; - depending on you feel about your significant other at the moment!

Sorry-Stupid Question- What does D in DH mean?

    The ';D'; stand for Dear.

In the most affectionate way---- Darling

In a not so affectionate Damn, Dumb,Ditzy you get the idea

Drunk?? Ha Ha oh yea thats only in Vegas

Thank you! I knew that there was no way that many ';Divorced'; couples went on vacation together!

Now, can someone please delete this post so I don%26#39;t feel like an idiot!

Heck No, no delete! This is too funny!

I was gonna mention Darlin%26#39;, but someone else beat me to it! Also, at times it could mean dipsh*it, oh those men, arent they a moody bunch though? ;)

It could also mean %26#39;Deranged%26#39;in the case of my H. I%26#39;d go with ';Da';.

Don%26#39;t ask my wife. She%26#39;ll tell it%26#39;s slang for Richard!

    DH = Dense Hardhead

This one fits the situation quite often!

Since this is International Sailor Talk Day, it means ';d@mn h@%%26amp;y';...and since this is a travel forum, TI is a great place to practice that talk...lol

    Spa

I am a spa junkie and the Qua at Caesars is the best I%26#39;ve EVER been to and I%26#39;ve traveled oversees and all over the US. CHECK IT OUT....even if you don%26#39;t stay there. I am to the point where I just pay the $40 to use the facilities and workout room and I don%26#39;t even get a treatment. The spa is THAT nice.

    Good luck.

I am 34 and my boyfriend and I are into the nightlife. Personally, Planet Hollywood is my favorite of all the hotels now. It%26#39;s really fun and a great location. Everything is new and it has a cool vibe. There is a mall attached too. Check it out. We%26#39;ve stayed all over the strip and prefer Caesars and Planet Hollywood over everything..for our age group.

    Spa

we are coming out to vegas next year to get married and part of my bachelttle party is hald day at qua spa.

    have you any photos?

    Spa

Can you get treatments even if you%26#39;re not staying at Caesar%26#39;s? I know that you can%26#39;t get any treatments at the Bellagio spa unless you%26#39;re staying there.

Have you tried the MGM Spa? I%26#39;m staying at the MGM in December and am thinking about getting a treatment there, but I don%26#39;t want to be disappointed. I had a sugar scrub at NYNY last year and was very unhappy with it; although the spa itself was nice (but tiny).

Qua is open to all, not just Caesars guests.

i totally agree with you - Qua is the best spa i%26#39;ve been to and like you, i%26#39;m a spa junkie -i%26#39;ve been to just about all of them in vegas and AC.

    i concur.

many of us mention qua on a regular basis.

i use the spa daily, always at my hotel - the 1 exception is qua, i will visit although i do not stay at caesar%26#39;s.

glad you discovered this. when the canyon ranch at palazzo is complete, in the next few months, it is supposed to rival qua - hoepfully. we%26#39;ll see soon enough

have you been to the wynn? i see you can now go to their spa during week even if not a guest and i was thinking of going there next trip but maybe now i%26#39;ll go to qua-i guess i have to pack a bathing suit because i%26#39;ve heard it%26#39;s amazing insdide

Qua is excellent! For the last post...bathing suits are optional at Qua. I always wear one, but there are plenty of women who don%26#39;t in the spa. The only thing I wish they had was a combined men/women area where my husband and I could meet. We have arranged to meet in the lanconium room (not sure if that%26#39;s spelled correctly), but it felt like we needed secret clearance to meet with our escorts from each side.

    toncasmo,

i%26#39;ve been to wynn but still like qua the best - the only perk wynn has is a deluge shower - its great for the neck and shoulder area --

i always wear a bathing suit - just because you have to sit in the jacuzzi%26#39;s, etc. - but there are plenty that dont - its all up to you.

  • Strip nightclub with the biggest dance floor?

I%26#39;m not really into sitting around in a lounge nightclub... looking more for a club with a BIG dancefloor - and loads of bar space if possible. I don%26#39;t want to sit around on couches, don%26#39;t want to fight for room to dance... or even simply maneuver around, and don%26#39;t want to fight for bartender attention. If I wanted that then I%26#39;d just go to the many clubs here in Orlando.

Been to jackcolton.com, napkinnights.com, etc but none of them really talk about the club setup or show any pictures except for the lounge chairs and people there.

I have VIP for either of the 2 MGM Grand clubs (Studio 54 or Tabu). Probably choosing Studio 54, seems like it fits more of my liking.

Side note - Was at LAX last year and had a pretty bad experience. The club was set up almost the way I wanted it, but was packed. No room to dance and had to wait in a bar line like no tomorrow (don%26#39;t even begin with the 1.5 hour wait to get into the club). It was a Friday night and Nicky Hilton%26#39;s B-Day so I%26#39;ll give them some slack.

Strip nightclub with the biggest dance floor?

And by ';Strip Nightclub'; I meant nightclub found on the strip (not Palms, Rio, etc unless it%26#39;s a MUST HAVE thing). I didn%26#39;t mean strip club joints.

Strip nightclub with the biggest dance floor?

You probably dont want to be in LV either if it%26#39;s a popular club, maybe you should be taking your vacation in South Beach.

Tabu is not a dance club, so I wouldn%26#39;t go there.

The problem is that your interests do not fundamentally coincide with the interests of most of the people who go to LV nightclubs.

Well guess what... I%26#39;m going to Vegas and not South Beach... but thanks for the help (or lack-there-of). Please sense the sarcasm for your own benefit.

I know that the lounge is the new thing and what I%26#39;m asking for doesn%26#39;t match what most clubs are about... I just wanted to know a Las Vegas strip club with the biggest dancefloor (and large bar area). I%26#39;ll figure it out.

    Now, now....

    does size really matter?

while you may find the biggest, what if it%26#39;s also the busiest, therefore has less room per person, such as your past bad experience?

do you want the biggest or the best? an age old question for sure

Come on, bridgefan, we%26#39;re both women. Let%26#39;s face it...size does matter somewhat! :)

I hope you find the club you%26#39;re looking for whoisdaman. I%26#39;m thinking you may want to look at jackcolton and go on the nights that are not listed as the hot nights for those particular clubs. That way you have more room to dance. Good luck!

  • Donny and Marie

We decided to see Donny and Marie the second night after they opened since we were staying at the Flamingo. The show was very good. It is not a big production show although they have some very good dancers with them. My favorite part was actually the section where Donny just sits on a stool in the middle of the stage and sings his hits.

My daughters are handicapped so we were far to the front and right of the stage and could not see what was going on at the back of the stage but almost everything was to the front and center.Donny actually came out into the audience and danced and sang on top of some of the tables.

I do hate the showroom where the show is held. I hate the tables and seating. The place was packed the night we were there and people who did not know each other were squeezed into booths together. We almost didn%26#39;t go to the show because of the room. I think the Flamingo needs to spend some money and upgrade this room.

All of us really enjoyed the show. They both still have great voices and are very comfortable in front of an audience.

    Donny and Marie

Glad to hear it%26#39;s a good show!
