Canadian Style Coffee ?

Hello to all:

Thanks for all the amazing info on these forums.

I was wondering if anyone could advise me where

to find some coffee that would remind me of home.

In the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) we have a

'; Tim Horton%26#39;s '; on just about every corner.

We also have Starbucks, but I%26#39;m not a fan.

It seems at least in Ontario that our taste in

coffee is somewhat different.

I%26#39;m hooked on Tim%26#39;s and haven%26#39;t found anything

like it in my 2 previous trips to Vegas.

I%26#39;ll be downtown for 3 nights, LVH for 3 nights

and the last 2 at MGM.

Canadian Style Coffee ?

You will not find drinkable coffee in Vegas if you are hooked on Tim%26#39;s like me. You can%26#39;t even get real cream, just some awful oily crap called %26#39;non dairy %26#39; creamer .

Im no coffee connoisseur but you can get real cream in LV.

To find Tim Horton, go to Fremont Casino, there%26#39;s one. Have a nice trip !

The Fremont%26#39;s website shows Dunkin Donuts.

Tim%26#39;s website doesn%26#39;t have anything for Nevada.

Any suggestions other than chain stores like

Startbucks or Dunkin.

My husband also loves Timmy%26#39;s coffee. He goes there everday. A couple of years ago when we went to vegas, he brougth a mini coffee maker and tim%26#39;s in his suitcase. When I went with my sister, she really liked Seattles Best coffee. They have a few different blends and there are a few locations on the strip, not sure about downtown.

Damaged,

I really like to buy and grind my own but there are some good quick options too.

I don%26#39;t know about where you live but I was able to find Illy in Vancouver. If you like Illy there is a coffee bar at LVH with Illy.

I sure like Tim Horton for chain coffee too, and I am also not a fan of Starbucks. Maybe we have similar tastes you can find a brew you like.

Sorry, but there is no coffee shops that I have found yet that compares to Tim%26#39;s. I have been to Vegas 5 times and have tried various shops. Dunkin Donuts is not bad, hate Starbuck%26#39;s, might surprise you but McDonald%26#39;s coffee is alright also.

Just have a couple of Tim%26#39;s in the airport to tie you over.

There are no Tim Horton%26#39;s in Vegas. I know cause myself and a (rich) friend (owns 2 in Calgary) has been working on getting a Tim%26#39;s in Vegas for over 3 years now and there is just no way they will allow this.

Cheers,

No Timmies in Vegas? Shameful, outrageous! Damagedbutgood we north of the border share your pain/addiction. When in Vegas I survive on anything with caffeine in it. As long as my mudslide tastes good, my coffee doesn%26#39;t have to!

I prefer Tim Horton%26#39;s over Starbuck%26#39;s as well. When in Vegas I find McConald%26#39;s coffee the best for me. Hard to believe but true!

Thanks to all that responded. I brew my own

Tim%26#39;s at home. Not exactly like the store but

I%26#39;ve got it to where I like it and I%26#39;m the only

coffee drinker at home.

We rented a house in Florida for ten days a

couple of years ago and I took Tim with me.

Gerolamy1, I probably will get a mini

machine because it is 8 nights. I was trying

to avoid this for luggage reasons.

Seattle%26#39;s Best has 1 location that I could find.

Shrinkgirl, I%26#39;ll check out the Illy at LVH.

BRGuy33, I%26#39;ve had Dunkin and it will do if need be.

I haven%26#39;t gone to McD%26#39;s since the kids were small

so I%26#39;ll give that a shot also. Tell your friend to keep

plugging away because the Canucks need Tim.

Thanks to all, I%26#39;ll report back.
