Does anyone know if there are buffets that serve real mashed potatoes? I really hate the places that use the dehydrated flakes to make their potatoes.

Don%26#39;t all of the better buffets use real potatoes? Which ones don%26#39;t?
are you sure that wasn%26#39;t dandruff?
Many of the restaurants here in town use the ';instant'; potatoes. I am hoping that I don%26#39;t find that problem in Vegas. I will sure try that Planet Hollywood since it is recommended. Thank you.
Someone must really like mashed potatoes! Out of all the things people ask about this is a new one...
Thanks for the warning. Note to self: No buffets or casual dining in Columbus.
Real mashed potatoes are just as important as hot crab legs....LOL.
Always remember 7: when it doubt, get a baked spud and make your own mashed =)
i can understand your mashed potato peeve.
i have a preference for what many people in the rest of the US call ';sticky rice';, i.e.: rice grains that stick together, rather than fall apart in individual grains. Specifically, my preference is for medium grain Calrose variety. i don%26#39;t care for the long grain stuff they serve, and Jasmine rice is okay, Rice Pilaf or Wild Rice just won%26#39;t do it for me.
on one hand, it does seem like a petty issue. yet on the other, if one really needs this particular item to make %26#39;em happy. like how some folks don%26#39;t consider a Vegas buffet to be good unless it has the crab legs or prime rib...
I like sticky rice too.
I always wondered who those people were...you know the ones that pay $30 for the buffet and load up on mac-n-cheese....and I guess mashed potatoes! LOL
