Wedding at Caesars - where should we stay?

Hi All!!

My cousin is getting married in a couple of weeks at Caesar%26#39;s Palace. We%26#39;re going out for two nights to help celebrate, but I don%26#39;t know where to stay. I%26#39;m completely unfamiliar with the strip and which hotel would be great for us.

I see that the rooms at Caesar%26#39;s are around $500, and that%26#39;s not really in our price range. However, I know that we%26#39;ve kind of become accustomed to staying in more upscale accomodations, so we%26#39;d like something somewhat nice. I think we%26#39;d spend $250 - $300 per night.

Can something like this be had on the strip? I guess I was hoping we could stay within walking distance to Caesar%26#39;s?? Or should we stay somewhere off the strip and just take a taxi?

Any guidance or advice is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Have you checked the hot deals on harrahs website for Caesars

From the rate you quoted for Caesar%26#39;s, makes me think you will be there over a weekend. Weekend (Fri, Sat nights) can be 3-4x more expensive than Sun-Thurs night stayes. Vegas is unlike any other city, no set room rates, rates go according to supply and demand. You might check Venetian or Plazzo, even Bellagio, all wonderful properties within walking distance to Caesar%26#39;s.

We are staying Friday and Saturday nights.....yes, I can see where that would be the most expensive time of the week :c(

you could take a look at the fatwallet site and see if there are any special offers on there, Gabby gave you some great hotels and they often have special offers so worth a look

Ballys is almost opposite caesars and although its not as upscale as the others mentioned the rooms in the North Tower are very nice and large. We got married and stayed at caesars 2 years ago but our friends stayed in a north tower room in Ballys and their room was great. If you put Ballys into the search function top left of the TA website you can then look at photos of the rooms taken by other guests. The north tower has been renovated but the south tower hasn%26#39;t hence why you pay a bit more for the north tower.

Either Bellagio or Mirage might suit you and in your price range. Close to Caesars.

Here are a couple of promos I got emailed to me. (these are open to all)

Oops, sorry can%26#39;t get the links to work.

Check either fatwallet.com or smartervegas.com as they should have these promos up.
