Hi,
10 of us are going at the end of October - Fri-Mon, staying at the MGM. Where would you recommend we eat for dinners? I assume we will need reservations everywhere for all 10 of us? We%26#39;d like 1 really nice dinner, maybe one buffet and one place to go before Mystere 7pm show.
Really appreciate your help!
5 couples...where to have dinners?
For a nice meal, I%26#39;d recommend Craftsteak and Pearl at MGM. You would definitely need reservations.
For a buffet, I%26#39;d only recommend Bellagio and Wynn. Paris for breakfast only. Mandalay Bay gets good reviews but I haven%26#39;t tried it yet.
Before Mystere, you could go to Kahunaville - decent enough food - not gourmet at all, it%26#39;s a fun place with flair bartenders. Kahunaville is located right outside of the theater of Mystere. I would make reservations since you need to be at the show that night.
Have fun.
5 couples...where to have dinners?
price ranges needed - pp++ w/o alcohol. will you have a vehcile?
without knowing prices some of our favs:
Joel R or Alex for nice dinner
Wynn buffet
Some places in Las Vegas don%26#39;t really like to split the ticket up among 5 couples. We were with a group once at the Range Steakhouse at Harrahs and our waiter cheerfully gave us separate tickets. We ate at Caesars like that once and the waiter didn%26#39;t want to split the tickets and it%26#39;s always uncomfortable then because you either have to just end up paying for the whole thing or sort out who had what because there%26#39;s always one couple in the group who wants to share an item, etc. The Range is good.

Solution: Don%26#39;t travel with cheap people! :)
Just agree to split the bill 5 ways and move on.
Great place to have a fantastic dinner is at the Eiffel Tower restaurant at Paris, food is excellent, service is superior %26amp; the view is spectacular of the strip %26amp; Bellagio fountains. Great buffet to try is Wynn is the best on the strip, great choices %26amp; excellent quality. A place to eat before the show is Nero%26#39;s at Caesars the food is so good that it feels like it melts in your mouth or you could try the Mesa Grill at Caesars great southwest flavor.
Have a great time in Vegas!!!!!
For the %26#39;special%26#39; meal out, do Alize at the Palms, food and service are excellent and the view is phenomenal. It really makes for a very special evening out.
As for the suggestion of Nero%26#39;s, it is very good, but also not cheap and there are other places that fill the nice or special meal category better than it does. Same can be said for Eiffel Tower, it is good but overpriced for what you get. Just pay the small fee and go up for a look from it. Also, keep in mind, the restaurant is not at the top of the tower!
