So me and my hubby booked our first trip to Vegas about a month ago, and the first show we booked was Criss Angel Believe. We were sooo excited and paid top dollar for good seats.
Anyway, we just found out that the show has been changed to a preview performance?? Can anyone clarify exactly what this is? Will Criss still be performing live? I%26#39;m guessing it is the same as a regular show but more ';raw';?
Preview Performance???
In my limited experience:
You will get a 25% discount. If, for some rare reason, they need to stop the show and reset something or there is some minor mistake, you can%26#39;t complain.
I generally like the preview shows as they are the same show at a discount.
It%26#39;s ain%26#39;t a show without Criss.
Preview Performance???
I believe that you have to call the box office and get your tickets re-issued to get the 25% discount. The show should be the same as the regular show, they are just working out the kinks. They usually try to get the regular show down to about 90 minutes, so you may see a longer show. I heard that when some of the other Cirque shows were in previews they were over 2 hours long.
Thanks for the replies. Actually the preview sounds pretty good. Hopefully it won%26#39;t be too long considering it%26#39;s close to the opening date. You know money to spend, places to go. LOL
Have tix to 9/30 show. They are also offering a dinner package at 4 different restaurants at the luxor. Go to the luxor home page and click on Believe. Will have a review here as long as they don%26#39;t postpone again.
i got a call a couple days ago about my show tix.
had 2 for the late show on Mon Oct 27, was told that the late show was cancelled at that date and was offered same seats for early show. as it falls within the newly altered ';preview performance period';, they took the 25% off.
yes, Criss will be performing, depending on how close to the premeire expect that they%26#39;re gonna be fine tuning the performances, which may not be anything noticable.
Just wanted to note that it is a ';live'; performance. At The Price is Right last Wednesday, the host started to award the Showcase to the losing contestant before being corrected by the announcer. So, preview show or a long running one, its still live! Who knows, you may have a great story to tell should Criss mess up one of his tricks.
