Hotel Age Limit

Hi

This may seem like a really daft question but here goes -

I was looking to book a room at the Signature for 4 nts for my wife, my 19 year old son and I.

On the website it states that no-one under the age of 21 can check in.

Logically, I would assume that unless LV has a pathalogical hatred of munchkins, it means that under 21s can%26#39;t check-in, unless accompanied by an adult over 21. However not having any knowledge of LV whatsoever, (my eldest son has just sprung a wedding on us at very short notice) I just wanted to confirm that this does not mean my son would be unable to stay in that hotel due to some weird gambling regulations or something.

Can anyone clarify please?

Thanks

You are correct to assume that that can check in as long as they%26#39;re accompanied by an adult.

You do realise though that the age for drinking, gambling, clubs, etc is 21 in the US?

Your 19 year old won%26#39;t even be able to go into a pub with you even if he was to only have a soft drink.

Nor will he be abe to watch you gamble - he is only allowed to walk through the casino on his way to the room, pool or restaurant - and he won%26#39;t be allowed to stop. In LV he will have the status of a child.

I%26#39;m only pointing this out as a lot of people coming from the UK don%26#39;t realise it and if I was 19 and knew I couldn%26#39;t drink, gamble, go to most shows or even go in a pub and have a soft drink, then I wouldn%26#39;t want to go.

If you%26#39;re just going for a few days for a wedding then you should all be fine. He can deffo stay in the room with you, he just can%26#39;t check in.

Also if he ingores what JarJar has said you can be fined $10,000 they are very strict on the under 21

Jar Jar -

Thanks, I appreciate the information. U are quite right, he will not be happy. However for his brothers wedding, he%26#39;ll cope.

I didn%26#39;t know this and I%26#39;ve been to the us twice. He%26#39;ll be 20 when we get there, out of curiosity what%26#39;s the chance of anyone asking for ID?

If he looks under 21 he will get carded iM 39 AND I GOT CARDED @ NYNY LOL

';what%26#39;s the chance of anyone asking for ID?';

A virtual certainty in any place that requires you to be 21, ie casinos, bars and clubs. Vegas is probably the strictest location on the planet for checking IDs for underage drinking and gambling.

I%26#39;ve known people who are 30 get asked for ID, so the chances of him getting away with it are zero.

The fines for the casinos are way to high and the chances of them losing licences are vry possible if they serve under age people or allow them to play, so they are VERY VERY strict with ID-ing people

Dealer will ask, pit bosses will ask, bar tenders will ask. It%26#39;s their job on the line if they don%26#39;t ask and get caught so believe me, its not worth trying to get around it as you may all get asked to leave.

Okay, just thought I%26#39;d ask but no problem.
