How far away is the Four Seasons?

I%26#39;ve been reading in a lot of the posts that the Four Seasons is far from the action. How long a walk is it to the strip? I%26#39;ve never been to LV before, so I%26#39;m trying to figure out where we want to be. All the TA reviews of the FS have been excellent, so we%26#39;re leaning toward staying there, but if it%26#39;s far enough away that we%26#39;d be taking cabs, I wouldn%26#39;t do it. I enjoy walking, so a short stroll would be fine. What are we talking about, 15 minutes? half hour?

Four Seasons is on the strip (south end), atop Mandalay Bay.

Stay at the Four Seasons, I stayed there May 2008 and the service was great!

Look for their stay 2 nights and get the third night free.

FourSeasons will be the only place I will pay to stay at, I find their rooms to be spotless and I love having the room cleaned 2 times per day.

The staff there really must love there jobs because everybody is very friendly and they go out of there way to speak to you.

Their Gym is nice, you walk in and there is a towel and headphones and water at your treadmill waiting for you to use. When you are done they have glasses for lemon ice water or gatoraide, with lids and straws to go.

Distance:

I find center strip overrated, too many people on the strip, too many dam%26amp;* strollers, hard to even walk on the sidewalk.

I find it very easy to navigate MB, I take the tram to Excalibur and then it is a easy walk to MGM or even down to PH.

I am 42 and I am not very fit, but I find I can walk from EX down to Harrah%26#39;s with little to no problem.

I think the drink service at MB was very good, and I found so many places to eat at MB, MB place and NYNY so I may not get farther than the Flamingo my next trip.

NYNY just opened a new club and MB has a open lounge

stay at the Four Seasons you will not be sorry, you may not be able to stay anywhere else in LV after that.

You will not have to take a taxi anywhere. It is not a long walk to the other casinos. Mandalay Bay has a tram that will take you to Excaliber, then you can walk across a bridge to NYNY and MGM. From MGM, you can easily walk to all of the other mid strip casinos. The only time the walk might be difficult is during the summer months due to the heat. Other than that, it is an enjoyable walk.

I love to walk the strip in the early morning - from Mandalay Bay down to the Wynn and back.

FS is one our favs, a great choice.

you might have to take a cab somewhere - which you would no matter where you stay. FS is on the strip, at one end, and some consider a ';center strip'; location a must. I do not - the ';strip'; as usually referred to here, is only a few miles long - sometimes the entrance to a property can be 1/4-1/3 mile from the actual strip.
