Hi- Yesterday I received our discounted monorail tickets for our upcoming trip in Nov. Although we rent a car in Vegas we will use the monorail to go to the SEMA show because parking is such a problem there and the traffic going down to the show is very heavy. On prior trips for a tradeshow we had to get to the venue, pay for parking each day and walk quite a distance from the parking lot.

In June, we walked across to the MGM from the Monte Carlo, got on the monorail and we got out at the convention center.

For anyone interested in buying monorail tickets for their stay you can purchase them online very easily. They are offering a 6 trip package for $20 and shipping to us was $2.50- one ticket arrives and it can be used by more than one person by just running it through the turnstile again.

This discount is not only for the SEMA show, but for any time and the ticket is good for a year.

I got on the website to purchase the 6 ride ticket, and it is no longer available. I e -mailed them and they wrote back that this is not longer an option, it was a limited time special, although you can still purchase 9.00 all day passes, which are 12.00 if purcahsed at the ticket booths at the station.s

If you go to semashow.com, there are still other options available like the 3 day pass but the 10 ride pass is not available there anymore either.

Sorry the special is no longer available. I only purchased it last week and didn%26#39;t realize it would end so soon. Perhaps it will be offered again in the future. They do have other offers that pop up- I know when we went in JUne my DH got a special of some kind also. Jan

The 10 ride ticket is still available as a special for conventions at $28.00

I should add that you do not need to be attending the convention, I have just bought under this promotion and it is a regular 10 ride ticket good for one year from date of purchase.
