OK - just got back 3 days ago from Vegas. Stayed at the Flamingo for 9 days (all comped). We%26#39;ll be going back in November for 6 days - and we can stay at either Bally%26#39;s or Paris comped.
Which would you chose and why? Also, any particular room numbers to ask for at either hotel?
Paris or Ballys
We have stayed recently at both. Paris rooms are probably more consistent than Bally%26#39;s. We%26#39;ve always gotten in the North Tower at Bally%26#39;s and every room we%26#39;ve ever had (several) have been large and lovely. My sister has stayed in the South Tower, and she said her room there wasn%26#39;t bad, but I%26#39;ve read reports from people on TA that complain about the South Tower being very out dated with worn furniture and such--but, they say some of the views are great from there. The Paris rooms aren%26#39;t as large unless you get a ';P'; room. P rooms are rooms on the corners. They are shaped funny and have more floor space. I%26#39;m sure they have extra fancy big rooms, but their regular rooms are too big--bigger than Harrah%26#39;s, not as big as Bally%26#39;s. Lots of the Paris rooms have recently been remodeled. We%26#39;ve always had good luck (with the room, but gambling) with both properties. I don%26#39;t think you will be disappointed whichever you select.
Paris or Ballys
I%26#39;d choose Paris. It is a nicer property overall. The rooms are nicer, the casino is nicer and the food choices are better.
As you probably know, the properties are next to each other, connected so that you don%26#39;t even need to go outside. So dining and entertainment options are kind of moot, as you can get to places at either property in minutes.
I%26#39;ve stayed at both, and the standard rooms in the North tower at Bally%26#39;s are nice. Paris rooms seemed at bit smaller by comparison, but are more up to date.
AS other said you can%26#39;t go wrong with either, Bally%26#39;s rooms are nice %26amp; the casino is very low key, Paris rooms are very nice but a little more modern, The casino has a better vibe to me but they are connected thru an inside walkway which is nice. They both have very comfy beds %26amp; friendly staff so it%26#39;s just preference %26amp; which meets your criteria for a great stay. I guess I would give the edge to Paris for some reason I like it better, just personal preference.
Another question - I seem to recall there being a ';conceierge'; floor at Paris. What floor is that? Seemed to me that they have cocktails/snack available there?? Thanks!
It%26#39;s on the 31st floor here%26#39;s the link:

Some people have mentioned a £65 charge per day upgrade but I don%26#39;t know if this was from a luxury to premiere which included the lounge or just a charge per day for use of the lounge.
Are your 6 days comp for the South Tower at Bally%26#39;s or either tower at Bally%26#39;s? It should say when you look up the reservation. South Tower has been explained already, so I won%26#39;t go over it again, but the general consensus is that the North Tower is preferred to the South Tower for room type (not view). I think I might have stayed in the South Tower once, if so I don%26#39;t recall it being that bad, but it was several years ago.
I%26#39;ve stayed at both. I like both. I%26#39;d probably pick Paris if you haven%26#39;t stayed there yet. Nothing wrong with Bally%26#39;s though, I might stay there next trip just because my husband feels more at home there and I%26#39;ve stayed at Paris my last 3 trips. If you click on my name, you will see photos of my 1st room at Paris. The other two rooms were similar in design, with the blues and yellows, which I understand is old room style (not remodeled) but it was perfectly fine for me. As for a room with a view of the pool or foutains, they%26#39;ll try to upsell you, but decline nicely, and you%26#39;ll probably still get one, I have, then I tip. Unless you are already comped for a room with a view? I%26#39;m only a gold TR card holder, and my room comps are the most basic room types for each property.
When are you going in November? We are planning a trip for this fall, October is way too busy for us, so it looks like it will be November.
We%26#39;re going the 15th to 20th of November. We%26#39;re Platinum, almost Diamond (maybe this trip). I%26#39;ll have to check what our reservation says. Wondering what you have to do to get the 30th floor rooms??
Cant go wrong with either i choose Paris because its more up to date.
