For those who stayed at the Flamingo lately !

I am curious if there are still ants there? Ever since reading the TR last week about ants I am not sure what to do cause we are staying there in a month and not sure if I should book elsewhere. Thanks

I haven%26#39;t stayed there recently, but I am still perplexed about that situation...I would assume by now that someone would have reported it to the Health Dept. (either Las Vegas or State of Nevada).

I keep thinking a local person will post something about it being in the paper if the problem is as bad as it has been reported.

I am also curious and wonder if anyone can give an update or has talked to either Flamingo management or whatever agency oversees the health and environment in the Vegas area.

We just returned from a 9 day stay at the FLamingo and I never, ever saw any ants. No ants in the room, no ants in the casino, no ants in the buffet, no ants at the pool.

Personnally, I%26#39;m thinking the one that posted the trip report about having ants - I think they might have brought the ants in with them (inadvertantly, but come on - how come the ants followed them from room to room???).

We didn%26#39;t have a GO room, and the room 25138 - wasn%26#39;t the nicest (especially compared to a GO room) - but it was fine. Really, we weren%26#39;t in the room that much anyhow.

IMHO - stay at the Flamingo - it%26#39;s really a great location!

We stayed there last time in a GO room with a view and loved it so will stay again and hope for the best lol

We did not stay there but we did walk through the casino. It was wall to wall old folks( nothing against old folks) and had a very musty smell

I just returned from the Flamingo and I never saw a ant anywhere. I was in a deluxe room, the casino, pool and multiple restaurants. We also went up to th emonorail station. And after reading about the ants I was looking
