Wynn Resort Room or Palazzo Suite?????
I%26#39;ll let you know in a week!
Wynn Resort Room or Palazzo Suite?????
Never stayed at Palazzo, but have been to Wynn several times. Have you stayed at Wynn before?
I would pick Palazzo for the bigger room (the newest hotel), then your close enough to walk over and check out the Wynn.
Have reservations at both but am leaning toward the larger and newer rooms at Palazzo. People rave about the service at Wynn but I can%26#39;t imagine that there%26#39;d be much difference between the two. Reviews also say that the pool is nicer at Wynn.
The room at Palazzo is larher, with the living room area having couches, desk %26amp; chair w/ fax/printer, small dining table and chairs, TV (one of 3) in armoire.
At Wynn you have a desk and chair, small table, no living room area. The Wynn foyer is a little wider and the closet doors open to the foyer. At the Palazzo the closet doors open into the bedroom part.
The bathrooms are close to the same size and layout - Palazzo a little larger with a vanity table - the Wynn does not have this. The Wynn sink vanities have an area between them that is dropped down, whereas at The palazzo the counter height is the same across. Tub, shower and toilet areas almost identical. Each has a TV.
Both rooms have auto window coverings, the decor at Wynn is a little more modern. Palazzo has more room for stuff, if you need it. Both beds are comfortable.
Wynn has better VP, a smaller casino, Palazzo casino has poor VP, larger aisles.
Service at both is impeccable, Wynn is smaller, has fewer dining options especially at the low end of the budget - also has Alex, one of our favorites, we sometimes dine 3 or 4 nights in a row, and Tableau and The Country Clib. Palazzo has more low budget dining options if you count what is available at The V and the canal shops - also has Bouchon, another fav and we dine here every trip.
Since the walkway over the road is conveneint you can get between the 2 easily.
you can%26#39;t wrong at either place.
Overall, I like the rooms at the Palazzo best, as they have the two living areas (bedroom and sunken living room) and they%26#39;re newer. However, I prefer everything else better at Wynn - service, pool, restaurants. The Wynn is so luxurious but in such a comfortable, unpretentious way, plus it has a very unique feel to it, whereas the Palazzo was gorgeous but came off a little cold and generic. So you%26#39;ll just have to decide which factors are more important to you. Hope that helps!
IMO, you can%26#39;t go wrong with either, I love the Wynn %26amp; the staff is fantastic there but the Palazzo rooms are newer %26amp; a little larger. It%26#39;s just preference %26amp; which one meets you criteria in a great stay. If it was me, %26amp; my lst time, I would go with Palazzo since it newer, but the Wynn is very elegant in its own way.
The two times we stayed at the Wynn our resort side room also had a small sofa and coffee table. It felt spacious enough for two of us with a king size bed, plenty of room for luggage, etc.
The vanity area in the bathroom is the dropped down area between the sinks and is very usable (if this was not clear in the previous post).
Thanks for the input, am going with Palazzo. The larger room was my deciding factor and my wife liked the idea of being upstairs from the shops... Will be headed to the airport a week from right now.
I will be watching for your TR. I have a week booked at Palazzo starting on 10/19. If you do any sports betting, I would be interested in hearing about the new sports book in the Palazzo. Have fun.
i prefer wynns my wife prefers palazzo
Staying and dining at both a few times
I still prefer the conceirge fortuna suites at the palazzo to relax during a break from gambling,
BRIDGEFAN1 has discribed both hotels as well as can be for a person who has stayed at both hotels many a time
GOOD LUCK both are beautiful properties and you can%26#39;t go wrong on either
