Well, what was meant to be an ';on the cheap'; trip with my son
for football betting and ';male bonding'; in November has suddenly morphed into a luxury vacation due to the DW getting a $99 a night rate offer at the Venetian.
This means that our dear son will get the pull-out sofa bed, and not surprisingly, he%26#39;s ready to complain about it (since he can%26#39;t really complain about the fact that Mom is coming along).
So, has anyone actually slept on one? I don%26#39;t imagine there is much even a Vegas hotel can do to make them wonderful, but some re-assurances might tone things down until the drinking starts.
TIA!
Venetian Pull Out Sofa Bed...
I didn%26#39;t realize that they were sofa beds. Can%26#39;t you just get a room with two queen beds?
I have slept on sofa beds in various suite hotels and while they are not the best, they are not horrible.
I assume that your son is kind of young and when you are in your 20%26#39;s you can sleep on anything pretty much anything without too much trouble.
Venetian Pull Out Sofa Bed...
We went with the king + sofa bed (you have to request them in advance) to provide a little more separation between the parental units and the offspring.
And yeah, he%26#39;s 22 and he%26#39;s accustomed to a mid-price futon, so I%26#39;m guessing it will work out OK.
Besides, he has NO IDEA of how much fun he%26#39;s going to have.
Well BF, old sod, that would be the 10 feet and a short wall.
What I hope to learn is exactly what I asked. Did you read the post?
If you have slept on one of the Venetian sofa beds, I would be happy to read your comments about it.
What do you hope to gain with these sort of posts?
back to the question ....
Our 18 yr old son slept on the pull out bed (its a twin size) and did not complain. His friend slept on the sofa next to the bed and also did not complain. Have fun !!
If he is anything like my 22 y/o brother, he might not even take the time to pull the sofa into a bed and may just sleep on it as is!
Curious about various offers too, since I got same offer and am considering it. We booked Bills in Decmeber for $48 per night. Now, got this Venetian offer for only $99 per night and am considering switching or just going there for half of trip. Being there only 4 nights, may not want to switch. The idea of the hide-a-bed is of interest since one person may join us afterall.
Rooms at the Venetian are more than worth the $99 rate. You might want to consider the switch from bills...
If this will be the only time you can go to the venetian on account of price. Then i would surley GO
