Wayne Brady show for teens?

WB is coming to Sydney and my teenager loves him in Whose Line. I am not sure if his show is suitable for teenagers (and it may not be exactly the same show as in Las Vegas, a city which is of course more ';out there';...)

Also, no offense meant, but I think we are a bit more tolerant here in Australia of swearing etc, so that doesn%26#39;t really bother us (having lived in the U.S. on and off for 6 years I feel I can say that). It%26#39;s more if there is LOTS of swearing and really in-your-face sexual innuendo that concerns me.

Can anyone help please?

thanks

Well, I%26#39;ve seen the WB show in Vegas and it would be appropriate for mature teenagers. Innuendo is never in-your-face or else it wouldn%26#39;t be innuendo.

Before you but your tickets, check the website. Most of the shows will tell you if under 18 year old people are allowed.

We took a a young friend to Dennis Miller in LV and they checked her ID at the door. She was old enough (21) but it made me think about the age restrictions for shows.

If under 18 folks are allowed the sexaul content is usually limited.

That%26#39;s ';buy'; not ';but';. LOL

I was just on the wensite and the show is listed as suitable for children over the age of 13.

Yes, thanks all. It says 13 and over for Vegas show. Our daughter will be nearly 14, pretty mature (worse going on with them on MSN, I%26#39;m sure!!).. so it sounds ok..He looks like great show...

I saw his show in Las Vegas. It was OK for a mature teen. (And, I%26#39;m kind of prudish.)

Hi Mel1Sydney,

WB show has some swearing and less than most mainstream comics here in Aus. Not much innuendo. I%26#39;d say 15+ age group would be fine. There%26#39;s prob more swearing in the schooolyard! Under 15%26#39;s would probably just get bored...

WB show will be fine for 15+. No more swearing than in the schoolyard %26amp; less than some popular mainstream comics. Under 15%26#39;s would prob just be bored...Lots of singing, dancing, improv, impersonations etc Innuendo didn%26#39;t seem particularly full-on to me..?

Ha! Yes, compared to what I read over the shoulder on MSN, I%26#39;ll bet the swearing is tame!

Thanks all for responding. Sounds like she%26#39;ll like it as she is musical, studies singing, so that won%26#39;t bore her....Will take my chances!

cheers
