Mardi Gras Tower vs Carnival Tower

The Mardi Gras Tower rooms are newly renovated. I haven%26#39;t stayed in one since the renovation so I can%26#39;t comment on those. When staying at Harrahs, I like Carnaval. Each tower has their own elevators, the Carnval elevators will take you to the 2nd floor for Starbucks. The Starbucks in the lobby is always busy, the 2nd floor not so much.

Carnival is newer, and away from the noise of Carnival court...Mardi Gras is older, has been redone, including flat screen TV%26#39;s, but can be loud....depends what you are looking for.

We have stayed recently in both. I prefer the Mardi Gras because I enjoy the newest of the rooms. They are not real large, but very nicely appointed. They have great beds and bedding and, like others have said, flat screens television sets it the bedroom and in the bathroom. The Carnival Tower rooms may be just a dab bigger, not much difference. Harrah%26#39;s rooms are not large, in general. If you upgrade to a Jr. Suite, it%26#39;s really just a little larger hotel room. I%26#39;d rather have the new regular room. They have rooms in the Mardi Gras Tower that are not close to the Carnival Court. You are not bothered by noise from the Carnival Court if you are by the swimming pool.

Ditto to Linda%26#39;s post. I stayed on a lower floor in the Mardi gras tower overlooking the pool and no loud noise noticed. The casino building blocks you from the Carnaval Court. If you are on a higher floor in the same tower you will probably be bothered a lot.

Last month I was given a room on the 5th floor of the Carnaval Court, a junior suite (C501). It was actually BELOW the pool sun deck. I had a view of a wall with an air vent but as the sound was blocked it was great. Just state that the sound from the Carnaval Court is a concern when you check in. They are used to those requests.

Have a great time! Play the Fire Opal and Kilamanjaro penny slots. They are in the general area of the Total Rewards desk, near the main aisle through the casino. Good Luck!
