I have narrowed the choices for a fairly inexpensive, but good steakhouse down to these two from all of the reviews. Which do you prefer? Why?
Thanks again for all of your help.
Binions or Hugo's
I have not eaten at Binions, but I though Hugo%26#39;s was very good. I will definately eat there again.
Binions or Hugo's
Hugos is much better. Also more expensive.
I have yet to dine at either one. However, DH and I were pondering the same thing as you are. When compared the two, we opted for Binions, as we would like to see the sunset. I have also heard quite a few good reviews. We would rather look out at the skyline, as opposed to be in the cellar. Hugo%26#39;s has the salad cart, and does hand a rose to each lady. I think it is a matter of preference. I will let you know our experience when we return. Our trip is 10/7-10/14. I wish you luck.

Haven%26#39;t tried Binions yet but plan to in the next 2 weeks. Did Hugos last year and it was incredible. Chateau and lobster tail for 2 is the way to go.. Beef was perfect as was the tail.
I haven%26#39;t eaten at Binions but I never had a bad meal at Hugo%26#39;s. The food was always good as was the service. I would definitely recommend eating there.
I%26#39;ve eaten at both - though a year apart. You really can%26#39;t go wrong with either of these places. However I think there%26#39;s very little to separate them in terms of cost, quality of food or service.
I think it boils down to whether you want to go for the Binion%26#39;s view or the %26#39;treats%26#39; at Hugo%26#39;s (salad cart, rose, chocolate covered strawberries). Either that or toss a coin - whichever way it comes up, you%26#39;re going to have a good night!
Never tried Binons, but we have never missed going to Hugo%26#39;s every trip to Vegas. Always good food and service. If it is just for two, ask for one of the half circle booth. They are against the wall and give you slightly more privacy.
Part of our tradition each time after dinner my wife finds a little girl walking around with her family on Fremont street and gives her the rose from Hugos.
Give Hugos a shot, you%26#39;ll like it.
I have eaten at Binions. The food id very good and the view is wonerful. We are heading down in a few days and are debating between Binions Steak House or Pullman at main Street Station. The Pullman has great food and a very nice atmosphere also. In line with the other two as far as prices and service if not just a little better.
