Eating in N. Lake Tahoe

Can%26#39;t wait to get to N Lake Tahoe next week!! We - 4 adults, no kids - would love recommendations for restaurants where we can eat outdoors, preferably casual. (We%26#39;re more the salad/burger/margarita types!) Last year we enjoyed Sol y Lago, Plumpjack%26#39;s in Squaw Valley and Austin%26#39;s in Incline Village but it was October. Since it will be warmer this time, we%26#39;d love to eat outdoors as often as we can. Thanks!!

Garwoods in Carnelian Bay. Very nice deck overlooking hte lake. They have outdoor heaters as well.

Sunnyside is always a favorite of mine. Same thing. Lakeside deck with heaters.

Jason%26#39;s, in King%26#39;s Beach is a good place for lakefront casual dining. They have great burgers, ribs and drinks.

Also, Tomaatos in Incline has outdoor dining in the pine trees, but no lake view. Great Pizza%26#39;s and beer on tap.

The Big Water Grill is a wonderful place for fine dining and they have a great wine list. They have an outdoor deck, but don%26#39;t serve dinner out there.

They are not open for lunch.

Thanks so much for all the info - we%26#39;re staying a mile above Kings Beach, so all are convenient. Really appreciate help in mking a great trip even greater...:)

The Lone Eagle Grill @ the Hyatt has great outdoor dining and very good food, you can take a walk on the pier before your meal, this is a lakefront restaurant. Have fun! :)

Thanks, syrahgirl - we stayed there in the lakeside cottages last fall but since it was too cold to eat outside, I%26#39;d just forgotten about it..we%26#39;ll definitely go since our friends have never been to Tahoe and the Hyatt site is so beautiful.

Here is a link that lists outdoor dining in Lake Tahoe. There are many outdoor and lakeside places but they may not all be serving on their outdoor patios as it will depend on whether it is warm enough or if they have heaters. Many will surely be serving lunch outdoors if hte sun is out and the wind isn%26#39;t bad. It%26#39;s a pretty big list:
