Hi, I ordered the 2008 acg from Amazon late aug but it won%26#39;t even ship until late sept., am leaving on the 26th so I cancelled the order. 9 sleeps... woohoo!!! Is there anywhere in Vegas that either the acg or the lva pov is available to purchase? Thx for any help!! Luna

Any time I have been into one of the ';Mega'; book stores out here such as Barnes and Noble or Borders they have had a recent copy of that years%26#39; book.

The Lva can be picked up at Hunnington press. It%26#39;s near the Rio. However, please print out the map and don%26#39;t be suprised if the cabbies look at you funny when you mention Hunnington press because most won%26#39;t have a clue as to where exactly it is.

The fare will be less than $10 for a round trip. Make sure the cabbie stays while you get your book as it will only take a minute to get it.

It%26#39;s going to be hard to find anywhere since the 2009 will be coming out in November. The only places their web page indicates that isn%26#39;t out is Terribles and the Cannery.

Ebay has a couple for sale. I almost forgot about ebay.

The only place to get LVA%26#39;s POV is at the LVA office which is Huntington Press. That%26#39;s where you become a member if you haven%26#39;t done so through the website.

The current POV expires in December.

Like a PP stated most places are sold out of the 08 ACG. You might try www.pokerguru.com and www.vegasresource.com . They usually have a few this timeof year. On the Vegas Resource website look at the coupon books tab. I think they will deliver to your room in LV.

Last time I checked online, only Buy.com and Borders.com had the ACG in stock. You can also use the Borders website to find locations with it in stock. The 2009 ACG should be out in a couple months so retailers are at the point where they won%26#39;t restock it. The publishers no longer have it available.

stick with the POV I think the ACG was a waste- the coupons in the POV was much better.

Thanks everyone. Would it make sense to stop at the Huntington Press location on the way from the airport to the Mirage? Or is that way out of the way? First time visiting... Thx!

the above statement not true

most coupons are good through 12/30, some expire 12/31, a few earlier - the date for each is on the coupon.

a few examples, Orleans buffet 12/23, vinny favorito 12/31, ellis island, all of them 12/30, paris 12/30

Please folks, don%26#39;t post inaccurate info when it comes to people%26#39;s money! It%26#39;s irresponsible and hurts those that are trying to save a few bucks.

luna, Hunnington press is fairly close to the rio so a trip from the airport to the rio and then the mirage would be a long one. I would suggest catching the bus at harrahs to the rio and cabbing it from there. The fare would be loads less, less than $10.

Bridge, well said! The coupons have different expiration dates on them so to assume that they are all good until November may not help folks that go after that time.
