Hello all,can anyone tell me how far outside Vegas is the Bass Pro Shop?
Bass Pro shop?
It%26#39;s very much within Vegas! It%26#39;s by the Silverton Hotel and Casino at the intersection of Blue Mountain and Dean Martin Drive, around six miles from center Strip.

Bass Pro shop?
Thanks for that blagger, didnt realise it waso close, told my husband i will get some things from there if not too far..going in november and cant wait..
I have read reviews that the Silverton has a pretty decent inexpensive buffet and they also have a bar that has a huge aquarium inside.
The Bass Pro Shop is actually connected to the Silverton Casino. You can walk right into it from the casino.
We ';discovered'; the Silverton on our last trip and loved it for it%26#39;s full pay VP and the great payouts. We spent a few afternoons there playing craps and VP. It was much nicer and newer than I expected.
you can jump on a bus to get there if your not driving .the bus%26#39;s run regularly and are just a few dollars each.it drops you outside and picks up at the same place.worth a visit.
The Silverton (nee Boomtown) is a great property to visit and if you%26#39;re outdoors people Bass Pro is a sportsman%26#39;s heaven. Hunting, fishing, hiking, NASCAR, blah, blah, blah. The place is huge!
The big aquarium mentioned by a poster is not in the bar but just beside the entrance to Bass Pro. Of course if you turn left, you%26#39;ll see the bar and then the gamblin%26#39; hall. All well worth the trek down Las Vegas Blvd.
It is a wondrous store - with absolutely everything for the outdoor person - except plain old waterproof trousers, we know we tried! You can get every type of camouflage under the sun including some incredible outfits but no simple waterproof hiking trousers.
The aquarium/water tank is amazing including a real live mermaid at times.
Hi we will bne staying at the mgm signature, where would we catch the bus to bass pro shop and would it be any bus or a certain number? thanks
I know one bus that goes there is #217, but I doubt it runs directly from the Sig. I am pretty sure you could take the Deuce bus south on the Strip ( catching it across the Strip from MGM) to the South Strip Transportation Center and catch the 217 from there, but maybe there is a better way from the Sig- hopefully someone more familiar with that area will know.
