anyone know much about this hotel, its a great price but wondering if its to good to be true? Is it clean and in a good walking section on the strip?
Circus Circus hotel
I would not feel comfortable walking there, but i%26#39;ve only been to Vegas once so the others can tell you more. When I did a search on this hotel, in the forum collum, I did not gather much good things about this place. But you can do the same and see what you come up with. I am sure there will be others on here who will give you some more say so. Sorry I could%26#39;t help more!
Circus Circus hotel
ITs t00 far north and not a good walking area. It is not clean. and you need to read a lot or trip reports to find out what the clowns may do to you.
I don%26#39;t think anyone has ever used ';too good to be true'; in relation to Circus Circus. It%26#39;s an older property on the ';less happening'; North end of the Strip, not exactly one of the best properties in town to say the least.
I%26#39;ve never stayed there, it may be ';clean';, but would usually not be the first choice for people visiting the Strip. Nor would it be the second choice...or the third...
you get what you par for - CC is truly a dump.
there is much discusssion here on CC, a quick search (the sort by date) will get you many threads
Many people consider CC the worst hotel on the strip. I am sure you are going to be hearing about the hotel from other people. I have never stayed there so I can%26#39;t comment on the rooms and it has been a while since I was in it. When I was there I didn%26#39;t consider it a hotel I would want to stay at . It was (and I am sure still is) crawling with kids and the public areas were not to my liking. I think most(but not all) posters would agree with me.
It is on the northern part of the strip and it is far away from all the attractions and casinos that most people want to see when visiting Vegas. You are going to have to rely on a sometimes slow and crowded bus to get to the central part of the strip-or take cabs. I would suggest you look for another hotel.
thanks for your comments we will not be staying at the Circus Circus, going to try to find something closer and nicer to the action. Thanks
Its a dump plain and simple
I read quite a few reviews before my last trip to vegas in October and there was not even one positive review about the Circus Circus, I walked into the casino part on the last trip and was apalled at how disgusting it looked, it looked worn out and dirty. (Although I can%26#39;t complain I did win $200 on a slot machine)
I did hear a rumour that they were going to pull down the hotel in 2010, someone else might need to confirm it.
From all of my research I found that Bills seemed to be a good budget hotel on the strip I would try that instead.
I heard it said once, that CC is what the worlds vacation destinations would be like if the Russians had declared neuclear war...and won !!!
Hi
I have never stayed there or even considered it, but I have visited it. Can the rooms be that bad? I am talking about the best tower rooms, not manor rooms. I thought the last time I went in the casino which was 2007, missed it this year, it did not seem that bad, no worse than Excal, Trop type place but am I missing something here.
