i%26#39;ve just become a proud dad to 2 beautiful twin girls who i absoloutely adore, but friends of mine are booking up vegas soon and i really want to go!!!

Offer to take the girls with you---so the person who really deserves it can have a vacation.

If the trip is several months down the road, then maybe.......if not, don%26#39;t go! Caring for two newborns is a lot of work, most mothers of twins say they can%26#39;t remember the first year or so after they give birth, they are up all night long for several months. If you were my husband and wanted to take off on holiday during those first months, I%26#39;d shoot you! Stay home help your wife, she%26#39;s going to be needing all the help she can get. If either of you deserves a vacation, it is going to be her.

Unless you both can go then stay home %26amp; help her out with the twins, she will have her hands full. If you can find someone to watch them that you trust, then it will give the both of you a little break from the madness.

After carrying your two beautiful twin girls for nine months (congratulations by the way) and the hard slog of the delivery, sounds like mum should go and you stay home and deal with the little uns then see how selfish you sound.

I agree with the others. If you can%26#39;t both go- then you should not be thinking of going! If you adore your wife and your daughters- stay home and do your share taking care of your family. They should come first. Being a family member- especially one with twins- means making sacrifices.

Vegas is not going to disappear soon. When your daughteres are older and you have someone to take care of them- then you AND your wife should go to Vegas together.

You%26#39;ve no idea what all is entailed when you have twins. Even thinking of going makes you very selfish. Tell you what, why don%26#39;t you take complete care of them for a week, then tell us how you fared, if it was a piece of cake.......then maybe, I%26#39;ll guarantee that within 8 hrs you%26#39;d be begging for help! Your wife is going to need a holiday, not you.
