MGM Grand Garden Arena - seating question

Hi, we are looking at tickets for UFC 91 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The cage will be in the middle of the venue. Can anyone shed some light as to how the views are in this arena? Will the upper levels still have decent views or should we spring for lower level tickets? Any insight would be great. Thanks!!

I am bumping this thread back up. Help!!

MGM Grand Garden Arena - seating question

Have been there for a concert not a fight but those upper levels are way up (particularly on one end). Personally if you can spring for it I would go as low as I could afford if this is an event you really want to see.

Hi, I haven%26#39;t been to the Garden Arena (I haven%26#39;t even been to vegas yet!) so I can%26#39;t answer your question directly. However, I am looking into tickets for the UFC 92 at Mandalay Bay in Dec, and have read alot about both venues. Most people say for both places that you really can%26#39;t see anything from the upper levels. You will mainly be watching the fights on the screens, which is pretty much like watching from home but without the commentary. However, you have the excitement from the crowd, etc which I believe would still make it a worthwhile event. If you actually want to make out what is happening in the cage then I think you really need to be further down. I would not suggest the floor itself (which you wouldn%26#39;t get for UFC 91 anyways unless you use a site like stubhub and pay like $5000, since these seats are already sold out) because the cage is elevated, so you would be looking up. That would be okay for the standup, but would be really hard to tell what%26#39;s going on when the fighters have taken it to the mat. I think the best seats are probably the first level off the floor, maybe about 10 rows up. Of course I think you will have a good view further up still, but by the time you hit the second level off the floor (or maybe even sooner) I think it will be hard to see. I hope this is somewhat helpful. I know the tickets are SO expensive, its nice to know what you%26#39;re going to be able to see based on what you%26#39;ve paid for. If anyone has any further info, particularly for seats at Mandalay Bay, please let me know! Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. We saw the TUF finale last year at the Pearl at the Palms. Talk about a great venue. I think it only holds about 2500 people. It was great. The excitement from the crowd and the whole experience was awesome. I haven%26#39;t been to Mandalay Bay, so I can%26#39;t help you with that. Sounds like a fun time! yeah, these UFC 91 are so expensive it%26#39;s ridiculous. I just don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s worth paying twice as much for one level difference. Decisions decisions. I may call the venue and see if they can give me any more detailed information or their opinions on the sections. Thanks!
