Every once in a while I read a trip report and hear complaints about the timeshare bookers really bugging people. I know that you can ignore them, but sometimes they keep after you when you do. I%26#39;ve found that the best way to get them off your back is to quickly say ';sorry, we%26#39;re leaving in the morning.'; Since you won%26#39;t be around the next day for the presentation, they immediately walk away from you. If by chance you see the same one the next day and they call you out, just say ';yeah, flight was delayed, we%26#39;re heading for the airport in a couple of hours.'; Works every time.
Timeshare Operator trick
I just say no and walk away. It works everytime. I really don%26#39;t understand why it bothers people so much.
Timeshare Operator trick
I don%26#39;t understand it either, Jack. Just say ';no thanks';. Why people feel the need/requirement to make up lies or excuses is beyond my comprehension.
I don%26#39;t even say ';no.'; I just keep walking. If they want to follow me- well, let them. I just won%26#39;t stop,make eye contact or acknowledge them at all. Nobody has ever grabbed me to stop me from walking by.
I just keep walking and avoid eye contact.
';I just keep walking and avoid eye contact.';
Exactly - I can%26#39;t understand why people even engage these folks in conversation at all, much less having to make up ';stories'; as to why you won%26#39;t talk to them.
I give them a shake of the head and keep doing what I%26#39;m doing...
Like telemarketers, panhandlers and porn slappers these people are the rude ones.
I politely say no and if they continue in their rudeness I give them back what they give.
Maybe instead I should tell a panhandler I lost a lot of money in the stock market, so he can understand why I won%26#39;t give him a quarter.
Why engage in any conversation?
I should have also said for the OP, if someone with a blue shirt with a yellow, oops maize M on it approaches you just say Muck Fichigan.
Wow. That was hilarious.
I thought this post was going to be about the best timeshares to waste 90 min%26#39;s on. The ones with the best payout for time lost.
